Wadakyu Niboshi Dried Sardines 80g
Wadakyu Niboshi are dried sardines and play an essential role in terms of ramen ground stock cooking. Compared to other ground broth ingredients like kombu or katsuobushi, the stock made with niboshi has a more concentrated briny aroma and also intense flavor. So the Niboshi Dashi is often used for recipes like miso soup, hot pot, and other Japanese noodle dishes that can handle the sophisticated flavor.
How to prepare:Put niboshi and water in a pot, bring to a boil. Lower the heat and cook on for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain through a sieve. If you want to avoid any small pieces in the dashi, you can use a paper filter.
