Usukuchi Shoyu Light Soy Sauce 150ml
Founded in 1875 (Meiji 8) in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Meijiya Shoyu is a family-owned soy sauce brewery with more than 150 years of craftsmanship. Now led by the fifth generation, the brewery continues to preserve traditional Japanese brewing methods while producing authentic soy sauce, miso, and sauces.
This light Meijiya Shoyu uses high-quality soybeans, wheat, natural sea salt, and pure underground spring water from the Akaishi Mountains. Their soy sauce is naturally fermented and aged for 18 months to 3 years, allowing it to develop a rich umami, deep aroma, and exceptional depth of flavour without rushing the process.
Dedicated to preserving Japan's brewing heritage, Meijiya Shoyu combines generations of expertise with carefully selected ingredients to create soy sauces that are ideal for both traditional Japanese cuisine and everyday cooking.
