Taiyaki Air-In Strawberry Wafer 16.5g

A crisp, taiyaki-shaped wafer filled with light, whipped strawberry chocolate. Pukupuku Tai, literally "puffy sea bream," is a fixture of Japan's dagashi candy shops.

The strawberry chocolate inside is whipped before it sets, so it stays airy and light — what Meito calls "air-in" chocolate. It's wrapped in a thin, crisp wafer shell shaped like the taiyaki's fins and scales.

Eat it straight from the pack, or freeze it for 30 minutes for a crisper, colder version.
