This organic Kotobuki Matcha is a true all-rounder in certified organic quality, coming straight from the traditional and sun-drenched region of Kagoshima in the far south of Japan. The tea leaves grow on nutrient-rich volcanic soils and are carefully shaded before harvest. As a result, this finely ground green tea develops its deep green color and a wonderfully bold, fresh flavor profile with a finely balanced, pleasantly bitter note.
Thanks to its intense aroma, Kotobuki Matcha is not only wonderful for daily pure enjoyment, but is also the perfect partner in the modern kitchen. It does not lose its character when combined with milk, making it the ideal base for a creamy matcha latte or for refining pastries, ice cream, and creative desserts.
For the classic preparation, simply sift 2 grams of powder into a bowl, pour in 70 milliliters of water warmed to 80 degrees, and whisk until frothy using a bamboo whisk.
