Fueki Kinbue Shoyu Salt Reduced 150ml
This is a high quality low-salt shoyu from Fueki with a very compelling umami flavor. The aroma upon opening the bottle is enough to whet your appetite. One of the first low-salt shoyu brewed in a wooden barrel (kioke), purely naturally from the finest ingredients, has been popular in Japan for decades. It is suitable not only as a dipping shoyu, but also for cooking. With a salt content of 8.6%, this shoyu has 50% less salt than any concentional soy sauce and gives a great option on taste.
The Fueki factory was founded in 1789 in Kawagoe, Saitama Province, and has been brewing natural soy sauce in wooden barrels ever since. For several years now, the factory has been actively involved in the "100 Years Project" of Japan, which helps to keep the tradition of handcrafted, traditional wooden barrels alive.
