Kobayashi 10 Years Aged Miso 500g
This premium miso matures through multiple fermentations over at least 10 years, developing a deep, rich color reminiscent of Mame Miso made from 100% soybeans. Originally a light rice miso, its long aging creates a full-bodied aroma and depth of flavor while remaining lighter on the palate than traditional Mame Miso.
Versatile in the kitchen: enjoy it on its own, mix with a younger miso for perfectly balanced miso soup, or use with melted butter as a quick sauce for fish or a savory miso butter spread.
Produced by Kobayashi Shoyu, a Niigata microbrewery founded in 1935, where traditional handcrafted techniques are still at the heart of every batch.
