5 Years Kuro Hon Mirin 300ml
Kuro Hon Mirin is a unique, premium mirin carefully crafted by Senoo Brewery in Aichi Prefecture. This exceptional mirin is a marriage of two worlds: the fresh vibrancy of newly brewed mirin and the deep, mellow richness of mirin aged naturally for five years.
The result is a perfectly balanced bottle, combining the lively clarity of young sake with the profound umami and roundness of matured mirin.
This extra-long-aged mirin has wonderful caramel notes and a depth of flavor that only comes from long aging. For all Japanese dishes, cocktails, or desserts, it can also be served neat - a rare quality even in Japan.
Senoo Sake Brewery from Okayama Province has been in existence since 1904 and is now in its fourth generation. Naturally brewed from glutinous rice, rice malt, and genuine rice shochu without additives, Kuro Hon Mirin offers a deep amber color, elegant sweetness, and an aromatic complexity. It is so refined that it can be enjoyed not only in cooking but also as a drink — on its own, over ice cream, mixed into yogurt, or blended into amazake to create entirely new flavors.
