Ramen Cooking Starter Kit
This Ramen cooking starter kit is specifically designed to help you cook and serve delicious Ramen bowl, a popular Japanese dish that typically consists of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a meat, vegan or fish-based broth, topped with various ingredients such as sliced pork, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and soft-boiled eggs.
Creating your own Ramen dishes is easy and incredibly versatile so it can be adapted to suit different tastes and dietary requirements. From vegetarian and vegan options to meat-based broths and toppings, there is a ramen dish for everyone. Besides its just great comfort food: The warm broth and noodles can be very comforting, especially on a cold day or when feeling sick under the weather. Even on a hot day you can make Tsuke-men Ramen, or more summer-friendly but rich variant.
For creating your own bowl of heaven we will supply you with the basic ingredients such as broth, noodles, miso paste and toppings so you just need to add meat, tofu or any other veggies as desired.
Ramen Kit includes:
- 2 x High quality ramen noodles (wavy) 120g each
- 1 x MYCONBINI broth (Tonkotsu style or vegan) 525ml
- 1 x HIKARI White Miso Paste 300g
- 1 x Beni Shoga Pickled Ginger 180g
- 1 x Shiro Goma Roasted Sesame Seeds 100g
- 1 x S&B Layu Chili Oil 33ml
- 1 x S&B Shichimi Togarashi 5 Spices Mix 15g
Instructions:
- Bring the ramen broth to the boil for 3 minutes (cook vegetables of your choice in the broth)
- Whisk 2 teaspoons of miso paste with a little water and stir into the broth
- Season the broth with 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon soy sauce and a little 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Cook the pasta separately in a pot for 2.5 - 3 minutes, then strain the starch
- Finally add 1 tablespoon of Beni Shoga red ginger, a few drops of chili oil and a little shichimi chili pepper to each serving
- Garnish with sesame seeds and, if desired, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of chopped spring onions.
