Okonomiyaki Takoyaki Flour Mix 180g
This Okonomiyaki Takoyaki mix is a seasoned flour mixture for creating your own authentic Okonomiyaki or Takoyaki. Okonomiyaki is the kind of Japanese savoury pancake which you can find at every festival, so is Takoyaki - just so yummy. This ingredient is so easy to use and a fun thing to do with your friends and family. Try it and you will love the unique taste of Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki.
How To Use:
1. Preparation for 2 servings: 180g Okonomiyaki mixture, 240ml water, 6 eggs, 720g white cabbage. You can add to the mix : pork, squid, shrimp, sliced pickled ginger (beni shoga), thin slices of kirimochi etc.
2. Add the flour mix, eggs, water in a bowl. Mix the dough with a whisk until all lumps disappear.
3. Add the cabbage and other ingredients (except meat) and mix them.
4. Heat an oiled pan. Put the dough round-shaped and place the pork on the dough. Once underside becomes golden brown, flip and cook the other side.
5. After cooking, return again the dough.
6. Put or apply sauce (okonomi sauce) and / or mayonnaise. You can also sprinkle katsuobushi (shredded dried bonito) and ao nori (dried seaweed flakes).
