Chiyonoen Organic Sencha Tea 50g

The Chiyono Tea Farm who produces this fantastic Sencha is located 600 metres above sea level in the famous Yamecha location of Fukuoka Prefecture in southern Japan, surrounded by mountain forests and lush nature. The small family farm is run by the familys 3rd generation, the harvesting is traditionally done by hand and no pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used to grow this fantastic tea.

Due to the geographical and climatic conditions, less strong sunlight and milder temperatures, the plants grow more slowly and develop intense and rich aromas. This Sencha tea has a sweet, fruity note on the nose. The taste is mild with a soft, velvety finish and is somewhat reminiscent of the scents of its mountainous origins. With its beautiful color combined with the refreshing taste, this tea offers easy access to the world of Japanese tea
