Chiyonoen Hojicha Organic Tea 50g
The Chiyono Tea Farm who produces this fantastic Hojicha is located 600 metres above sea level in the famous Yamecha location of Fukuoka Prefecture in southern Japan, surrounded by mountain forests and lush nature. The small family farm is run by the familys 3rd generation, the harvesting is traditionally done by hand and no pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used to grow this fantastic tea.
In order to create this aromatic Hojicha, high-quality sencha and its stem are roasted at a high temperature, creating a fragrant and light taste that goes well with Western food. By roasting, caffeine is reduced, and it is a "daily tea" that can be safely drunk from small children to the elderly, pregnant women, and even before night breaks..
