Developed by a merchant in Osaka in 1935 takoyaki are little balls of dough containing chunks of octopus and smothered with delicious toppings. Cooked in special takoyaki plates, they became a true festival food staple and are a great way to enjoy an evening cooking these little balls with your friends.
